TERMS OF SERVICE
These are the terms that govern working with The Mech Studio. They're written to be read, not filed away. If something here doesn't suit your situation, talk to us before we start — most things are workable.
Services
The Mech Studio provides engineering documentation services — drawing packs, FEA reports, work instructions, and related technical documents. All work is delivered to the scope agreed in writing before work begins. If the scope changes mid-project, we'll discuss it and update the agreement accordingly.
Quotes and payment
Every project starts with a written quote. Work doesn't begin until the quote is accepted. Payment terms — including timing and method — are specified in each project quote. We keep it straightforward.
Intellectual property
Once a project is paid in full, the deliverables are yours. The Mech Studio retains the right to reference completed work in its portfolio — for example, showing a drawing pack as an example of our output. For confidential or sensitive projects, we exercise discretion and will discuss this with you if it's a concern.
Revisions
One round of revisions is included in all project quotes unless otherwise stated. A revision round means consolidated feedback addressed in a single pass — not iterative back-and-forth. Additional revisions beyond that are scoped and quoted separately before any work is done.
Liability
Deliverables are produced for the specific scope agreed in your project quote. The Mech Studio is not liable for outcomes that arise from modifications made to those deliverables after delivery — if the documents are changed without our involvement, we can't stand behind the result. If you need to modify delivered work, get in touch and we can help properly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If a dispute arises, we'd prefer to resolve it directly — but if it comes to that, Queensland jurisdiction applies.
